Getting here

There are plenty of ways to get to our lovely Island. Below are a series of suggested links to follow to find out about trains (ferries), planes (we have very small ones) and automobiles (on the ferry).

At Somerton Lodge we are always working towards our green star status. That means we are supporting the use of sustainable transport for travel. Before considering your car take a look at the other ways you can get to Shanklin.

For those of you who know how to use QR codes this one links to our local bus company and all their offers including timetables. They do some fantastic day tickets for groups and individuals.
